Adaptive/Therapeutic Horsemanship

Our Adaptive Therapeutic Horsemanship Program is offered to those ages 6+ that have physical, emotional, or mental challenges as well as cognitive or developmental delays. This program works with each client on an individual basis to provide a multitude of physical and emotional benefits of equine-assisted services.

This program does not guarantee mounted activities, some students will be determined safe for unmounted activities only. This program helps improve safety and body awareness, foster responsibility, and use the horse as a mirror for the client's actions, emotions, and body language. Some of the most important work with an equine is done from the ground.

Please email us to learn how to get involved in our Adaptive/Therapeutic Horsemanship Program as a student or volunteer. We are NOT able to bill any insurance at this time. Out-of- pocket cost is $50 per session, sessions range from 30 minutes - 1 hr depending on the students needs.
