At-Risk youth Program
Our at-risk youth program offers a variety of equine assisted learning activities to aid the teen in developing meaningful and healthy relationships, learning responsibility and self control, life skills, confidence, and emotional regulation.
This program offers life skills classes as well as horse powered reading/math tutoring services! We also have the ability to work alongside mental health professionals, school counselors and life coaches during equine sessions to promote personal growth.
This program does not include mounted activities. Unmounted activities improve safety and body awareness, foster responsibility, and use the horse as a mirror for the client's actions, emotions, and body language. Some of the most important work with an equine is done from the ground.
Please email us to learn how to get involved in this program as a student or volunteer. We are NOT able to bill any insurance at this time. Out-of-pocket cost is $50 per session, sessions last 1 hour.
